The mystery process: Part two
In my series of strange windows processes I would like to talk about the JUSCHED.exe process for a minute (I promise it won’t take long).
First of all, again.. don’t worry. It ain’t a virus. Whenever you see this process pop up you will probably have java installed on your computer.
Because the full name of this process is Java Update Scheduler. Yep, that’s it. A process that runs just to check if java is up to date.
Unless you are a java developer I suggest you kill this process. It’s a waste of resources.
Here is how.
Open up the control panel and open java. Select the tab UPDATE and uncheck the box “Check for Updates Automatically”.
There you are. Problem solved!
You see.. only a minute!
